We're Back!!

It's a new beginning for the blog. 

As we speak, many, many people - well, me - are working hard to produce a brand new look and new features to keep you entertained over the summer and beyond!

I've just finished writing the fifth Daley novel Well of the Winds and will begin work on book 6 soon. 

And that's one of the new things! 

I'm going to write a regular blog on how I'm getting on, and just what is involved in producing a crime novel from scratch. This will include the good, the bad, funny and sad aspects of being a writer - hopefully with much insight and wry, perhaps even humorous observations. 

Add to this, behind the scenes gossip and pics from the likes of the Edinburgh International Book Festival, radio and TV appearances, book events and signings, as well as anything else that pops up. 

I'm also going to interview some other authors to see what makes them tick.

Plus, competitions and giveaways. 

What's not to like???!!! 

Our official start date is next Monday, so the countdown is on.
