Magazines, Waterstones, Kindle and TV

Any of you who know me will be more than aware that to say I'm camera shy is putting it mildly.

In the last few months, it feels as though I have been thrust before the lens more often than at any other time in my life. Press photoshoots, personal appearances, or simply for social networking purposes; there I'll be, grimacing at the little black box, wishing I was somewhere else (preferably Tuscany), as I'm being cajoled by an enthusiastic snapper to turn this way, or that.

Tomorrow however, is the daddy of them all, as I face the TV cameras for the first time...oh dear. As soon as it's done and dusted, I will be able to tell you when and where to watch this monumental footage. Suffice it to say, I am approaching this event with what can best be described as mild panic. I will write over the next few days to let you know how I get on. Will it be success, or utter meltdown?

On another subject, I am pleased to say that Whisky From Small Glasses is now available throughout Waterstones' Scottish stores, as well as at a great new special offer price as an ebook on Kindle.

Also, read more about the book in an review and feature in the June issue of the excellent Scots Magazine, out today!! It's a privilege to appear in the world's oldest magazine.
