Liz Daley.

Despite warnings from her mother, Liz chose to throw in her lot with the tall, dark and sometimes taciturn, Jim Daley. That he was a policeman didn't bother her- well, then anyway- and in those far-off days, she was sure that 'all things financial' would take care of themselves.

The Liz Daley we meet in 'Whisky, From Small Glasses' is a different woman. Older, wiser, and as jaundiced by her lack of fulfillment as she is by her husband's demanding career. Here is a  a woman who seeks pleasure where she can find it: if that is with another- so be it.

As she flies to her husband's side, she has only one goal: to discover the destiny of their marriage. He will solve the case: he always does; but while he is doing it, she will sit back and assess the state of their own, private, nation. Though the scrutiny of her own feelings is a novel experience, it is a process that she will have to go through to discover whether or not she still wants to remain 'Mrs Daley'.

Immersing herself and her future in the unique ambiance of Kinloch, Liz Daley faces many challenges; she is prepared to go through hell to test her marriage- to destruction if necessary.

How apt that sentiment may prove.

Keep following, for the first two chapters of 'Whisky, From Small Glasses', exclusively here, soon.
