At The Edinburgh Festival!

As spring tries to wrench itself from the icy grip of winter, the thoughts of writers young and old turn to literary festivals which take place up and down the country.

In addition to my appearance at 'Booked' in May alongside the likes of Massie, McIllvanney, and Gray(see previous blogs for details), I'm delighted to report that I've also been invited by the famous Blackwell's Bookshop in Edinburgh, to talk at their 'Writers at the Festival' event as part of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival on 8 August.

Previous invitees include Banks, Faber and Mina. 

I hope that any of you who aim to find yourselves in the Scottish capital at that time will come along!
