In a desperate attempt to finish the sequel to Whisky From Small Glasses, I have erected this tent, which now affords me the peace and quiet in which to beaver away.
Yes, it's cold, but the WiFi is not bad, and as long as I keep the huskies close it will be tolerable.
I have just cut a hole in the ice, and am currently trying to tempt a fish to jump onto my line, providing breakfast! I must say though, I'm not overly hopeful.
More seriously, keep your eyes on the press; quite rightly, their attention has been on the terrible events in Algeria - my thoughts are with the families of those who have lost loved ones - so awful.
No doubt, there will be many more pages devoted to the weather - as we speak the snow continues to fall here on Loch Lomond, a beautiful scene, though a massive nuisance for many.
Thanks again for buying WHISKY FROM SMALL GLASSES - if you haven't yet, ask some who have, or read some of the many reviews on Amazon, The Herald and elsewhere - full details to be found on this blog.
On Amazon and all good bookshops, and as an ebook worldwide on Kindle and Kobo.
See what all the fuss is about!
